Let’s talk about some super simple SEO tips that will help your MLM blog posts get found in Google and other search engines when people are looking for a home business opportunity like yours.
SEO (search engine optimization) is an important part of your effort to attract visitors to your MLM blog. Although most of your visitors and leads will likely come from social media, it’s important to think about how your blog posts will rank in Google and other search engines when people are looking for information about a home based business.
SEO can be a very complex topic, with endless debates on what works best. However, the good news is that there are some simple things you can do to increase the odds of your blog posts being indexed and found in searches for your keywords. You really don’t want to get too bogged down into this – best to keep it simple and focus most of your time on connecting, making friends, and showing your business to interested prospects.
When creating a post, have a keyword phrase in mind you want to highlight. For this example, let’s say you want to create a post that emphasizes the keyword phrase “super simple seo tips”, and you would like to enhance your chances of being found in searches for that phrase.
1) Use the keyword phrase in your post title as I have done.
2) Use that phrase in the first sentence of the first paragraph.
3) For a MLM blog post of around 400 words, repeat that phrase again once or twice somewhere in the middle of the post, and in the last paragraph as well.
4) Use an image in the post, and make the “alt” tag description a related variation of the keyword phrase, for example “simple search engine optimization for your mlm blog”.
5) Create a custom meta description and use the phrase once in the description.
6) Use the phrase and related keywords in the meta keywords tag: super simple seo tips, mlm blog, network marketing, search engine, etc.
7) Bold the keyword phrase in the first paragraph, and underline or italicize it in one other place.
When using your keyword phrase in your post, be sure everything flows and reads well – don’t force the phrase in where it sounds awkward.
