Today I’d like to share a short video by Zig Ziglar that provides an excellent summary of how you can set goals for your network marketing home business.
The process is simple, but involves more than just “wishing” for certain things, like “more money” or “financial freedom”. Effective goal setting requires thought and effort to get it right.
In this video, Zig talks about setting goals like this:
- write down your objective (full time income, whatever you want to achieve)
- put a date on it (when you want to achieve it)
- identify obstacles (figure out what can stop you and be prepared)
- decide what people and groups you’ll need to work with (for example, your upline and downline)
- create a plan of action (your upline should help with this)
- learn what you need to know (there should be a training and mentoring program in place for you)
- decide “what’s in it for me” (you have to know this to drive your motivation and stoke your enthusiasm)
