Do you want more visitors and traffic coming to your blog? Here is a quick tip to increase blog traffic to your home business blog, or any blog for that matter.
To increase your chances of being found online and getting more visitors and traffic, your blog content needs to be posted in as many places as possible.
There are many different ways to post links back to your content.
For example, I can create a blog post and distribute that content in various ways:
- it gets posted here on my personal blog
- an image can be posted to photo sharing services and tagged with my main keywords and linked back to my post
- a short excerpt (3-5 sentences) with a link back to the post on my blog can be posted on multiple social sites
- very short excerpts (Twitter sized) can be posted as status updates across multiple services
- if I include a video with the post, it can be distributed to many different video sharing sites
Bottom line, the idea is to get mentions and links back to your main blog in as many places as you can.
Today’s tip for increasing blog traffic – go set up an account at Pixelpipe. It’s a free service that posts your content across a wide variety of social media and video sharing sites. Spend a few hours setting up accounts on each of the services they support, and create at least a minimum profile that includes your picture and a little information about you. You can add to this later, starting out just go with the basics.
Once you have it set up and running, it’s really easy to share your content automatically as often as you like!
