Safelists are one way you can advertise your product or home business, and it is possible to do this for free (or nearly free). There are some things to consider, though.
Safelists, like traffic exchanges, are a credit-based marketing system. With a safelist, members agree to open emails sent from other members and click a link to earn credits.
The link will be another member’s web page or lead capture form. In return for clicking the link, members earn credits they can use to send out emails to the list membership with their own offer.
In my experience, safelist advertising can work if you are very consistent with it. There are also some details you need to pay attention to, and some characteristics of safelist users that you need to consider when you are composing your email and choosing which link to promote.
In this podcast, we will explore….
- why people use safelists and what they are looking for (very important to know this)
- what type of emails don’t convert well (many safelist users make these fundamental errors)
- what you must do to stand out and get attention when mailing to a safelist
- how effective safelists really are for advertising and promoting your online ventures
As always, I will appreciate your feedback, either here or privately!
